Proverbs 9

Proverbs 9:10-11
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For by me your days will be multiplied,
And years of life will be added to you.
๐ธ The “fear of the Lord” in the new covenant of grace is about honoring, worshipping, and reverencing God as God in our lives. As we worship and honour the Lord, wisdom is added into our lives!
๐ธ Knowledge of the Holy One: The Lord's desire is for us to know Him more and more (and the most beautiful part is you can never exhaust from knowing more about the Lord because there is just so much beauty about Him every which way you turn Him).
๐ธAnd as we seek wisdom, our days will be multiplied and years of life shall be added! And we shall not only live long days, but the Lord promises that we shall live to see good days (1 Peter 3:10)
Good days are ahead of us! ๐

Pro 9:5
“Come, eat of my bread
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
This verse reminds me of the power of Holy Communion. So when we partake of the bread and wine, we shall always be conscious of Lord Jesus of His grace and love toward us, so abundantly given unto us. It is free. But it is not cheap. It comes at a cost where God's only begotten Son Jesus, and He went to the cross, where He bore all the unjust in Him. The divine exchange between Him and us. He was made poor so that we can be rich. Praise Jesus! I am also reminded of this amazing testimony of the famous businessman, who was sued by a bank for banktruptcy of a $100m debt. So there was this pastor who told him to partake of the Holy Comm before the meeting with the lawyers. And the pastor asked him how long does he need to repay the debt if given this opportunity. He told the pastor 3 years. And right before the meeting, this businessman partook of Holy Comm, and when the lawyers came, they told him they are not suing him for bankruptcy as originally planned, but was going to give him 3 years. Praise the Lord for favour upon this man! Hallelujah!
And what bread in this verse reminds me of the bread in Hebrews which is lechem ืֶืֶื
This lechem is found in Isa 53:5. And bread is found in reverse (left to right), so that as we partake, God is going to reverse our conditions and renew our youth like those of eagles. So good! And also right, when we partake of the bread and wine, we shall be blessed with the wisdom of God. And like you said, Jesus is Wisdom. So because we are in Christ and Christ is in us. We possess every possessions in this world. When we meditate and mutter His living words, the way of wisdom will be blessed unto us from the Lord.
