Proverbs 10
(S)
For today's proverbs, I wanted to pick out the promises for the righteous ones and claim it in Jesus name! 🙌🏻
🔸 righteousness delivers from death (v1) - the Lord delivered us from death
🔸The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish (v2) - the Lord will not let us go hungry, it is His heart desires to feed us and provide for us, just like how He went to the woman at the well and after ministering to her, He told the disciples, He has food that they do not know of. When we allow the Lord to feed us, He is satisfied...
🔸 Blessings are on the head of the righteous (v5) - the Lord has crown us with blessings, in exchange of the crown of thorns that He bear for us to take away the curse so we can receive blessings upon blessings, grace upon grace!
🔸The memory of the righteous is blessed (v7) - we have the mind of Christ, and even our memory is blessed!
🔸The mouth of the righteous is a well of life (v11)
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver (v20)
The lips of the righteous feed many (v21)
The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom (v31)
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable(v32)
- the reminder that our word carry weight and when we speak, life flows out
🔸The labor of the righteous leads to life (v16) - the only labour that is recorded in the Bible for the new covenant is to labour into rest (Hebrews 4:11). As we labour into rest, there shall be life!
🔸the desire of the righteous will be granted (v24) - the Lord will bring our heart desire to pass as we delight in Him (Psalm 37:4)
🔸righteous has an everlasting foundation (v25)
The righteous will never be removed (v30)
- the covenant with the Lord is everlasting and we can never lose our righteous foundation on His grace
🔸The hope of the righteous will be gladness (v28) - The Lord, our hope, will not disappoint us, and we can rejoice in this Hope.
And each time we partake the holy communion, the "blood" part that speaks of our righteousness, we can see these promises flowing into our lives, into our hearts!

Pro 10:6
Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
In this verse, I am once again reminded of the promises that God have with us, for we are the covenant child of God, like Hosan said during the praying in the spirit session earlier today. And because we are in Christ risen, seated with Jesus at right hand of Abba Father, every mind games and challenges, no matter how big they appear to be, we will always be looking at them downwards, not upwards. For we are head, not tail. And those mountains we face are going to be beneath us, for we are in Christ, and we are the head. Far above all powers and principalities of this world. Praise Jesus! And the next verse that I took away is verse 13, which says wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding. This reminded me once again of praying in the spirit, when we pray in tongues, the one gift which God give us that covers everything. And Ps Vegard shared this powerful analogy of praying in tongues which is likened to that of the house overfilled with water, and there is this very moment, where it will be like a geyser flowing rivers of living waters and blessings from the Lord that cannot be stopped. Just like wisdom be blessed unto us from the Lord. This also reminded me that when the Lord opens door(s) for us, like when we pray in tongues, no person in this world can shut. This praying in spirit is so good, praise God for this amazing gift He has blessed unto us!
