Proverbs 7

(W)
Pro 7:2 NLT
"Obey my commands and live!
Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes."

This verse spoke to me that the Lord's word always hold true in our lives. God is the author and finisher of our faith, and as we meditate on His words, I am reminded of the verse in John 7:38, of we going to Jesus' feet to drink, and be conscious of Jesus' unfailing love for us, to see Him in His grace, and when we do these, for out of our heart flows rivers of living water! And the verse says, to guard the words of God in our heart, and in the same way guard our eyes. Also, I was reminded of Pro 24:32 (NKJV) which says "When I saw (chazah) it, I considered (shiyth) it well; I looked on it (Ra'ah) and received instruction.
' Chazah ' in this verse it means to see, look behold and prophesy. And ' Shiyth ' means to put, set mind to and impose. While the word ' Ra'ah ' it means to see, look at, inspect and perceive.
So from these words, the Lord is speaking to us to guard His words with all our heart and keep meditating on His words, and we shall prophesy to build people up, to encourage one another in Christ, and we will be a shining light to the world, for all the glory of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
Also, from the same verse, I am also reminded of what Ps Vegard and Dns Miriam shared during camp, that they would take a walk and admire every goodness found in the environment created by God. And in this way, we can let nature minister to us through the living words of God. And the Lord will show us and lead us in areas that we are struggling in, and He will turn every situation around for our good.

Going to the next verse, Pro 7:3 (NKJV) "Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart". This verse tells us that we shall safeguard the word of God in our heart. And let His grace comes through us to transform us inwardly and outwardly. Cos when grace of the Lord superabounds in us and every of the situation we face, surely the Lord will bless us with qarah , and we will be at the right place, at the right time, and the Lord will prosper us in all things we do. And when the Lord is with us and for us, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Amen!

Pro 7:2 NLT
"Obey my commands and live!
Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes."

Same verse that stood out to me too! Yup, all else will fail but the Word of God will never fail (Isaiah 40:8) and..

For me, the words "guard your own eyes" remind me of the mind games session about the importance to guard the 3 gates, the eye-gate, the ear-gate and the mouth-gate. And I believe the Lord wants us to guard our inner vision and to align with His. Sometimes we get discourage because the inner vision in our hearts may not be aligning to God's vision of love for us. So this verse reminds me to guard the vision in the heart.

Habakkuk 2:2
And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

Just like how the Lord brought Abraham outside and said, “ Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

Let's be bold to ask the Lord to write His vision in our hearts!!!
