Proverbs 27

Key Verses that jumped at me
Pro 27:5,19
5 Open rebuke is better
Than love carefully concealed.
19 As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man.
What spoke to me in the verses
The verse 5 reminded me of the time where the Lord rebuked the pharisees with the strongest language. He didn't rebuke the hypocrites. He came to rebuke the hypocrisy for what they were not. And the Lord loves them, and He rebuked not at the hypocrites but at the hypocrisy. This reminded me once again that the Lord wants us to go to Him as we are. For whatever struggles and difficulties we may face, we just have to let go. And let God. We go to Him as we are, and the Lord will restore us. Just as He restored Peter. The goodness of God led Peter to repentance. And there along that line, when we are under grace of the Lord, sins will have no dominion over us. And we will be head, not be tail, and not beneath.
The next verse 19, I was reminded of the water having that similarity to being the law. Where it shows us our weaknesses. But because of the Lord's perfect finished work at the cross. He came to fulfill all laws. And the Lord's sacrifice at the cross, that divine exchange, where we are made righteous once and for all. And when we are conscious always of the Lord's unfailing love seeing Him through His grace at the cross, all His grace superabounds in us. And we receive the abundance of grace and gift of righteousness from the Lord, that we will reign in life through Lord Jesus. Amen! Hallelujah! ๐๐

Key Verses that jumped at me
Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow,
For you do not know what a day may bring forth.
What spoke to me in the verses
This verse reminds me of Matthew 6:34 where Jesus reminded us not to worry about tomorrow. The Lord loves us so much that He wants us to take each day at a time, each moment at a time and know that His grace will be fresh for every need that is in place. And just like the people of Israel when they were in the wilderness, God blessed them with daily manna and so our posture is to live each day at a time and trust that the supply will be there tomorrow when tomorrow comes, for our God is faithful!
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
