Proverbs 26

Key Verses that jumped at me
Pro 26:12
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.
What spoke to me in the verses
This verse spoke to me, which says never to rely on our own strength to accomplish things. And never to seek out our own wisdom through our own flesh. But to always seek out the wisdom from above, from the Lord. In Matt 6:33, where it says when we seek out the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things shall be added to us. As we know fools are those who are arrogant, and to say those who are wise by his own effort pale in comparison to those who are fools, it just reminded us of the need to always trust not in our own flesh, but in the Lord. When we have love in our heart, and there comes the provisions of peace, wisdom and other blessings from the Lord. And our other gifts, the Lord will bless us. So, it is important to always seek out the Lord, be conscious of His love for us, keep going to Him to draw from Him. Keep feeding on the words of God. And we will be gifted with the Bible hope, which will sustain and deliver us from times of trials and difficulties. Praise the Lord!

Key Verses that jumped at me
Proverbs 26:1 (VOICE)
Like snow in the summer and rain in the time of harvest,
so honor is never fitting for a fool.
What spoke to me in the verses
This verse reminds me that there is a time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Just like snow is not fitting for summer and rain is not helpful during harvest time, the Lord has also made sure that He makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Even the words spoken at the right time brings joy, as mentioned in Proverbs 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! It is a sweet reminder that our God, who is a God of Time and Space, and can all things around for our good so that a right gift at a right time would abundantly bless us! It affirms in me to continue to trust in His timing and His good works in our lives! And it reminds me of Genesis 24 when the servant was helping to seek a bride for Isaac and he prayed "LORD, God of my master Abraham, make me successful today, and show kindness to my master Abraham." And the word successful is "qarah" which means right place right time! With the Lord, we will find ourselves successful and being at the right place at the right time for our steps are led by the Lord!
