Proverbs 20
(W)
Pro 20:6,24,26
V6 spoke to me that all of us in this world, shall not boast in their own strength, but to always to boast in the strength of the Lord, and boast in the goodness and grace of the Lord. His grace is made perfect in our weaknesses and His grace is more than sufficient for us. Another word for faithful (in Hebrew word which is emuwn) is truth. And that is what the Lord want us to do, to always believe in the Lord, and trust in the Lord with all our heart.
What v24 spoke to me is that every child of God, our steps are guided and led by the Holy Spirit. And this reminded me of the verses in Jeremiah 1:6-12, which says that God knows everything about us way before we were formed in our mother's womb. And in Psalm 139:13-18, the verses say God have every good thoughts of us and when sum them all up together, this will be much more than what the sands could be numbered. Praise God! And when we trust in the Lord with all we can with our heart, our ways ahead will be filled with good days!
And moving on to next verse is v26, which says wise king sifting out the wicked and threshing wheel over them. This reminded me of the finest flour, obtained by pounding of the grains, and reminding me of Lord Jesus Christ finished work, where He was "pounded" and God's judgment on Him. And today, we can stand righteous in God's eyes because of Jesus' finished work. Praise Jesus! And threshing wheel reminded me of praying in the spirit which is used outwardly which is referred to as ramah in Greek, and is also associated with threshing teeth when we speak in tongues, that are used against our enemies. Praise the name of Lord Jesus!

Key Verses that jumped at me
Proverbs 20:28 NKJV
Mercy and truth preserve the king,
And by lovingkindness he upholds his throne.
What spoke to me in the verse
The word “mercy” here is the Hebrew word hesed, which means God’s grace. The word “truth” is the Hebrew word “emeth,” which means God's faithfulness. And since we are called to be king priest, I believe that God's grace and His faithfulness would preserve us. And preserve here is referred to as "to watch, guard, keep". Isn't that beautiful? That is is the Lord's grace and faithfulness that would watch over us!
And that reminds me of Psalm 121:4 that indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. We are so blessed to have the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to preserve us, to watch over us, with His grace (unmerited) and His faithfulness (undeserved)!
