Proverbs 17
(S)
Key verses that jumped at me
Proverbs 17:9
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven,
but dwelling on it separates close friends.
What spoke to me in the verse
It was a verse that reminds me a lot about Jesus and what He has done to love us! The verse says love prospers when fault is forgiven. Because the Lord has paid the price of our redemption and forgiven us of all our sins, today we can stand before Him and boldly receive His love, His abundant love for us. And the next part of the verse goes on to say that "dwelling on it separates close friends". The Bible records that God remembers our sin NO MORE, so today, He is not dwelling on our sins and our faults, hence we cannot be separated from Him. He is close to us and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). So today I am reminded that God dearly loves me and NOTHING absolutely nothing, and He doesn't want to either, to be separated from us! How blessed and love are we!

Pro 17:22
A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones.
This verse spoke to me in a way that a merry heart heals people, when we are at rest. When we are conscious of the Lord's unfailing love for us through Jesus' finished work. Position before provision. Another word for merry is joyful, rejoice. And when we rejoice in the Lord, the finished work of Jesus, for He is our Healer. His amazing grace abounds in us, and like yesterday's powerful message preached by Pastor Prince, we speak to Lord Jesus Christ for He is our Rock, seated next to Daddy God, and every time we speak to the Lord, He gives us living waters. And today, we rejoice in Lord Jesus Christ, for He is everything that we ask for in His name. As Jesus is, so are we. And how we see Lord Jesus, so shall it be for the good things that we are praying to come to pass. If we see Jesus as our Healer, that healing manifest and shall come to pass. Amen!
