Proverbs 11
(W)
Pro 11:25, 27-28
25 The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.
27 He who earnestly seeks good finds favor,
But trouble will come to him who seeks evil.
28 He who trusts in his riches will fall,
But the righteous will flourish like foliage.
These 3 verses reminded me to constantly seek the Lord in everything we do, and when we do, we shall find favour in the Lord in all that we do. Also right, we shall keep on planting and sowing the seeds unto people's lives, for believers in Christ, we shall keep on encouraging each other and edify our spirit, and build on more faith, and to go to the Lord daily to drink from His feet, for out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living waters for others. And for pre believers in Christ, we shall look for every opportunities to share with them our testimony of how we receive Christ, and preach the Gospel of Grace to them. And this include sowing seeds and watering the seeds, and surely the Lord shall make them come to pass and He will reap a harvest of those seeds we have sown and are going to sow. And v28 speaks of the righteous flourish like foliage, which is a branch. And this is precisely the way saying we shall always be conscious of the Lord's love for us, and to meditate on His words. And Lord Jesus being the true vine (in John 15:1-8), and as we are the branches, when we abide in His perfect love for us, and seek His righteousness (Matt 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you) fruits will be bore, and every thing that we need the Lord shall bless unto us. The Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want. For we have everything we need. Just to add on, verse 16 says "A gracious woman retains honor". So in the Hebrews word for woman, there is an extra grace in it, isn't it amazing for God to bless women with extra grace, so good! Grace upon grace! Praise the Lord!

Proverbs 11:10-11 NKJV
When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices;
And when the wicked perish, there is jubilation.
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted,
But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
๐ธ One of the first things that stood out of this was that as the righteous is blessed, the city is blessed. Just like how Pastor reminded us before, wherever we go, blessings go. When we are employed in a company, the company is blessed because we are there!
๐ธ When I went to look up the origin word of "city", it goes back to the root word "qarah" - right place right time. When the righteous is blessed, he/she will find themselves at the right place at the right time. And in the first mention of qarah, it refers to "good success" (Genesis 24:12).
๐ธ And how is it well with the righteous? When our soul prospers, so shall all the other areas of our life. As we take care of our soul, we will find ourselves inevitably blessed, and being at the right place at the right time ๐ฅ
