Proverbs 27

(W) Key Verses that jumped at me Pro 27:5,19 5 Open rebuke is better Than love carefully concealed. 19 As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man. What spoke to me in the verses The verse 5 reminded me of the time where the Lord rebuked the pharisees with the strongest language. He didn't rebuke the hypocrites. He came to rebuke the hypocrisy for what they were not. And the Lord loves them, and He rebuked not at the hypocrites but at the hypocrisy. This reminded me once again that the Lord wants us to go to Him as we are. For whatever struggles and difficulties we may face, we just have to let go. And let God. We go to Him as we are, and the Lord will restore us. Just as He restored Peter. The goodness of God led Peter to repentance. And there along that line, when we are under grace of the Lord, sins will have no dominion over us. And we will be head, not be tail, and not beneath. The next verse 19, I was reminded of the water having that similarity to being ...

Proverbs 26

(W) Key Verses that jumped at me Pro 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. What spoke to me in the verses This verse spoke to me, which says never to rely on our own strength to accomplish things. And never to seek out our own wisdom through our own flesh. But to always seek out the wisdom from above, from the Lord. In Matt 6:33, where it says when we seek out the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things shall be added to us. As we know fools are those who are arrogant, and to say those who are wise by his own effort pale in comparison to those who are fools, it just reminded us of the need to always trust not in our own flesh, but in the Lord. When we have love in our heart, and there comes the provisions of peace, wisdom and other blessings from the Lord. And our other gifts, the Lord will bless us. So, it is important to always seek out the Lord, be conscious of His love for us, keep going to Him to draw from Him. Keep...

Proverbs 25

(W) Key Verses that jumped at me Pro 25:22 22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the LORD will reward you. What spoke to me in the verses The first verse 22 spoke to me and reminding me of the redemption of Peter delivered by the Lord through the heap coals of fire. The first time Peter stood before coals of fire is in verse John 18:18 where he was alone, after failing the Lord. The 2nd time he stood before the coals of fire is in John 21:9 where he was with the Lord. And there the Lord restored Peter in front of His disciples. This reminded me once again of the goodness of God will lead us to repentance. And in the case of the woman who was accused of adultery, and after all pharisees left, the Lord gave her the gift of no condemnation that she will sin no more. For she was under grace. And this was exactly the message preached today by Ps Prince, where for we are under grace, we will sin no more. Like in Romans 8:17, where it says with gift of abundance of grace and ...

Proverbs 24

(W) Key Verses that jumped at me Pro 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. What spoke to me in the verses This verse spoke to me of having godly counsel to guide us in our daily lives. And this reminded me, and to seek counsel from those who have been through the walk with the Lord. For in all of us, indwell the Spirit. The same Holy Spirit. And in Zech 4:6 (So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.) For every things we do, we will start somewhere. And God will take it and bless it. And I was mindblown by what Dn Charlie shared during the famine workshop. He shared of the abbreviations for each letter of SPIRIT. Story of Gospel People oriented Innovate Resilience Integrity Trust We shall ask God to lead us when sharing the Gospel of Grace. Proverbs 23

(S) Key Verses that jumped at me Proverbs 23:15-16 TPT My beloved child, when your heart is full of wisdom, my heart is full of gladness. And when you speak anointed words, we are speaking mouth to mouth! Proverbs 23:18 TPT Your future is bright and filled with a living hope that will never fade away. What spoke to me in the verses In v15, I was drawn to the fact that the verse began with "my beloved child", such emphasis placed on our identity as a child of God! And reminding us that He is our loving Abba Father! When our heart is full of wisdom, and we know that wisdom comes when we ask Him for it for He gives it generously (James 1:5), it pleases our Heavenly Father! He is well pleased when we have our hearts filled with wisdom (Jesus) and when we know to ask Him and ask Him for more! In v16, I was intrigued by the word "anointed". Even though only in the TPT version does it use the word "anointed", but when we look up the Hebrew word for it, it is actu...

Proverbs 22

(S) Key Verses that jumped at me Proverbs 22:4 TPT Laying your life down in tender surrender before the Lord will bring life, prosperity, and honor as your reward. What spoke to me in the verses Some people may find surrendering to the Lord challenging at times... like there are certain areas where we find it really easy to trust the Lord in and there are some areas where we might wonder if we haven't seen God moved if we can still trust Him... And honestly I do question myself at times if there are areas that I do struggle to surrender to the Lord and trust Him in. But this verse reminded me of something else - of the one who laid His life down for me, the one who surrendered His life so that He can redeem me and truly have me as His own and as His righteous beloved! And this blow me off! And when He ask for us to lay down our life to Him, to surrender to Him because He not only wants to carry us through, He wants to bless us with life, prosperity, and honor! And this verse remind...

Proverbs 21

(S) Key Verses that jumped at me Proverbs 21:21 TPT He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness, and honor. What spoke to me in the verse This verse reminds me of Matthew 6:33 that as we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. And "all these things" including everything that the Lord wants to bless us with, and that every good and perfect gift shall be from Him! And if we refer back to the Proverbs verse, I like how it specifies that we will be blessed with life, righteousness, and honor. The word "honour" stood out to me. What a privilege that the Lord honours us as we choose to honour Him and place Him in the centre of our life! The hebrew word for HONOUR is "kabowd" and it means "glorious". He Lord glorifies us and cause us to shine (reminds me of the good shepherd who finds the lost sheep and rejoices over the sheep by placing the sheep on His shoulder) when we choo...
